On Saturday we headed to Cleveland to watch the Elite girls perform at the Cavs game. It was a lot of fun and Roo had a blast! I’m still recovering seems I don’t do well staying in a hotel, I need my bed. : D
It was not fun driving in the snow, the last 30 miles took F.O.R.E.V.E.R
Was so glad to spot the hotel, I had it planned (ya’ll know how I am) we were to get there at 4 giving us plenty of time. We got there at 5 due to the weather. Note to self next year leave super early : D
We went straight to our room and got ready to head to the game
We let Roo decide on walking to the arena or taking the shuttle, of course Roo who loves snow wanted to walk.
However, the snow wasn’t kind to our hair, her make-up and glitter (note to self take these things to the game next year!)
Players warming up before the girls came out
We then moved up to our seats to watch the game
We could feel the heat, Roo clung to JD during this part. She will now tell you how cool that was : D Isaiah found this whole experience awesome!
We tried to get into the game, but well it didn’t really work. Maybe next year they can dance at a Mountaineer game ; D
They did have a wonderful time. We held the kids till the halftime show and then they wanted to head back to swim!
Waiting to go swimming…we had dinner first
Snuck a picture of him swimming : )
This was our view from our hotel window
The weekend finally caught up with her about 10 mins from the house!
What’s next for the Elite girls? We have our first competition coming up soon, YAY! : )
