An ice storm

Monday was a beautiful day it was the calm before the storm, I kept telling JD I didn’t think we were gonna get anything. It was too pretty of a day.

We seen the sun that has been missing for awhile…Gideon and Bella got in a fight over this square of sun : )

Then Tuesday we woke up to no school, and everything covered in ice.

We lost power Tuesday night and it was off till Wednesday morning. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be (of course it was a short time) but the wood burner kept the house pretty warm and I had charged all the gadgets up for the kids.  They still ended up in a few fights though before it came back on : )

Today it is a beautiful day but cold, the roads are pretty much clear, but trying to walk outside is still iffy.  I’ve had fun getting down to the horses and back up lol. 

I figure the kids will go to school tomorrow and I need to so I can get a start on the Valentine sales : )
