The Never-ending Very Simple Scarf

While knitting this scarf, the children song entered my head "This is the song that never ends, it just goes on and on my friends" I started to sing this while knitting but replaced the word song with scarf. : )

Never-ending Very Simple Scarf
by: Dustina Cameron

Yarn: approx 496 yards of a DK weight (I used Peru DK Luxury)
Needle: US Size 6 circular Needle (32" cable)
Finished Width:7"
Lenth: 37"

Cast on 300 sts
Make sure sts are not twisted and join in the round, use a pm to mark the beginning of the round.

All rounds are just a simple K3, P2 keeping in pattern

When you can't take it anymore and just want to be done then bind off in pattern : )

Weave in ends, block, and enjoy!

Here are a few ways that I've been wearing it (except the long way not sure about that way, but my little girl likes it that way best)

Wrapped around 3 times

Doubled

Long

Pattern is meant for gifts or charities. Please do not make a profit off my scarf pattern. : )

Have you ever heard of a Moebius? That's a scarf knit in the round with a half twist. I learned how to do it from a youtube video and have been making them ever since, in every color and with different yarns. Here's a link for you, if you would like to try. The cast on is the most challenging part but once you got that it's easy and so much fun to make.

Hi Conny, I have heard of a Moebius but have not knit one. I may give that a try! I seen this style of scarf on TV with no twist and liked the looks of it. Thank you : )

I haven't figured out the casting on yet. I have put a twist in a couple of scarves knit in the round, but I think they must be a full twist. I'll need to take a look at this video again! Thanks.

Hi Alane, I've never tried the cast on for it but I do think Cat Bordhi has youtube videos on it. This scarf doesn't have a twist though : )
