A Fresh Start

This weekend I went to a Ladies Mini Retreat and really had a good time. It began Friday at 6:30 with dinner, I decided to just join them at 7:30 when the fellowship would begin, Tia and Julia Ciferno were the guest speakers. I really enjoyed them and Tia is one of those people that make you feel like you have always known her.

We then had workshops we could chose from and I took the A Fresh Start to your Mothering led by Tia. It was really nice to talk to others on guidance for your children...we were behind on our schedule and I had planned on leaving at 9:30 when the workshop was suppose to end, but I didn't get out of there till after midnight! : )

I made my way home (others stayed the whole night at the church for a campfire, movie, exercise classes, table games, and spas) and then had a restless night sleep.


This morning I headed back down at 10 when the next sessions would begin and listened to Tia and Julia sing to us. This is one of the songs they performed, surprised that You Tube didn't have more. I then took the workshop A Fresh Start to your Marriage before heading home.

I did have a wonderful time!

JD's computer is giving us some issues so I can't blog from it (its easier to blog from than this little Eee PC) so no pictures right now or the video of Roo from dance class. Hopefully soon : )

I do have a prayer request, our family friend (Jackson's mom) is not doing very well right now at all. Before Christmas I asked prayers for her...its still her liver but now also her kidneys. She is back at the Cleavland Clinic as they try to find out why she is having so much trouble. She is weak and confused...and the family is making trips back and forth. Please say a prayer for her, her family, and the doctors.I will keep you updated.
