A week through my phone

Things have been really busy here lately not only with me but also with JD, so he hasn't had a chance to look at his computer. I can't put pictures on this little computer from my camera but then remembered my phone!

I know the pictures are not the best but this way I can still blog, 'cause to me why blog with no pictures. Y'all know that I'm a picture loving nut : )

The first part of the week Isaiah and me came down with something, thankfully it only lasted 24hrs but that was a L-O-N-G 24hrs...

The cats are lazily exchanging swats at one another, they haven't been getting along lately.

On Tuesday I was feeling better, and was able to go to the school to help fill Valentine orders. We took a break around lunch time, had already missed Isaiah's lunch...did catch Roo and Jaylinn.

Isaiah went out to feed the barn cats but wasn't attacked by them, instead he was attacked by an over friendly golden lab that hadn't seen him in a very long time...

Roo's coat broke on Friday the zipper came off and who knows where the zipper is, so I had to find a new coat. One it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be...two when I did find it was on clearance and who doesn't like an awesome sale...three it's HUGE on her 'cause her size was nowhere to be found...four this means lots of growing room and cuteness till she does grow into it : )

Isaiah trying to run away from me...

Today we went back to the school to fill more orders, today they had my favorite school lunch Chicken Crispitos

So what exactly are we doing? Well first we cut out all these tags (cut more out today) and we have to write down To, From, Grade, Teacher...I've already suggested a few things on making this faster next year.

Then we have order forms where the kids have said who they would like to send a Valentine to, or parents/grandparents/etc. We find the items ranging from .25 cents to 1.75 and place with ticket

It is then placed in a Valentine bag, stapled closed with the tag on the outside. We will then deliver to the classes on the 12th.

The forms have 8 Valentine blanks...but several have also then written some in (or sent a chocolate heart to everyone in their class). I was in shock on how many orders we have gotten and we haven't even heard from 1/2 the school yet.

I've been thinking on ways to make this flow easier for next year, those who know me, know I like things done fast, well, and organized...some things just seem like extra steps. At least most of them just laugh and don't seem to get upset about me stepping in, this coming PTO I will have the floor on better way to manage popcorn days. We gotta get that better organized! : )

Other news the glove is done and will get a picture soon, still gotta do the match. I have some sample knits heading my way so hoping I can work on it tomorrow before they come.
