JD found a flashlight and made his way out, sure enough it was a nasty ol' snake! Thing is just a little bit before that we were out there walking around looking at stars *ewww*

I really don't like snakes almost as bad as spiders
On Saturday we had Scott's family over (he works at ADS too), we enjoyed a cook out and the kids enjoyed this....

The played Guitar Hero on it

the kids really seemed to have a blast...and later they watched Ice Age on it, very cool.
On Sunday we had a lazy day although we all went for a swim for about 2hrs. Now on Sunday, Bonnie was still pregnant but yesterday when Isaiah ran down to the barn he found one lonely kitten all by itself. The momma no where in sight.

I googled, called mom, the vet, and found out that the momma might come back in an hour so wait...but get the kitten warm. So we put it in a pan of a thing with hot water bottles and then under the heating lamps in the barn.

An hour later no momma, the vet told me I should feed the kitten when it reached 2hrs so we did. The other barn cats were there looking on and trying to figure out what to do with it. At first I thought maybe Josie would take it on but she didn't.
When JD came home we went back to the barn for the next 2 hour feeding and it was sleeping. It finally got to stirring around so I started feeding it again. Then the momma walked in carrying another kitten. I followed her and gave her the baby kitten, at first she was not impressed but I just kept pushing the baby on her. Finally it latched on and she looked at me like I really don't want this baby...I hope she takes care of them.
On knitting news I had to frog my gloves and start over...but then last night Bella found the yarn and glove buried in my knitting bag and tore it all up. I'm starting to think these gloves are not for me as I get ready to start them for the third time : )
Please keep a fellow knitter in your prayers. Christine who is a member of Knitting Help and the Any Sock KAL was in a bad horse back riding accident of the weekend. She goes mostly by The.Knitter on the forums.
I hope ya'll have a great day of knitting : )
