Friday what a day

Friday was a very pretty day not too hot, but the kids could still enjoy it.

On Friday we started the morning out on waiting for the bus to stop by and pick us up. It was going to take us to Kindergarten Orientation this way Roo could see and meet the bus driver and would kinda know the way she would be going.

On the bus, Roo didn't seem to like it and kept giving me her puppy face...however now she wants to ride the bus all the time lol.

She was kinda shy there which surprised me but once in the classroom she made friends with the little boy that will be sitting by her. I told her teacher good luck lol...they also found treat bags waiting for them on their desks. We got all her supplies turned in and she is now all set for Tuesday. I also made it through the morning without sobbing, it was so hard lol.

Isaiah found a praying mantis and had to see how well it smooshed with a rock

The girls went for a swim while waiting for the open house at the school

Bonnie moved her kittens out of hiding, which means now I can see them and pet them easier : )

I was involved in a cat/dog fight.

Bella HATES dogs which is funny 'cause she is soo small but she doubles her size and comes out mad. The girls had accidentally let Brutus in the house and while I made my way upstairs Haley greeted me with he is in your room. I went to get him knowing that Bella was sleeping in Roo's room and hoping we could get him out before she noticed. However, she met me in the hallway doubled in her size and looking for him. About the same time he came out of our room thinking it was like the barn cats that he could just chase with no harm done. He didn't know what hit him when that cat tore into him, of course I ended up in the middle trying to get him out and her in another room. He yelped a few times so I know she got to him but I couldn't find any open spots on him. We finally got her in Isaiah's room while we got him towards the door. We did have to get past Gideon but Isaiah was able to calm him (no one can calm Bella when it comes to a dog). The pictures above isn't a good shot but that is where she got her 3 claws stuck in my leg and ripped them out, it letter swelled, and bruised lol. I think it took her another hour before she finally was back to her normal size.

We then went to Isaiah's open house where he met his teacher, found his locker, and turned in all his supplies. I think I worry about him the most being a new school and making new friends.

We then went to the cafeteria where they were looking for volunteers, the lady told me they didn't have much of a PTO this year just the treasurer so if I could help they would love it. I signed up for a few things and then another teacher told me about Project More where they need volunteers to come in and read to the challenged and no one had signed up for that either so I said sure why not. First she has to wait for a grant to cover the cost of the background check they have to do lol.

We also had our first fight between girls after the open house, which Roo was very tired from the day and I knew a melt down was coming...thankfully yesterday they were able to patch it up and move on. A fight between girls is very different, they both end up crying, and well mind games are played too. When Isaiah and Jackson have a difference they wrestle around and then run off playing a different game : )

I also worked on my gloves with Gideon's help. He kept getting further and further on my lap, blocking my chart, and stopping my arms from moving like they needed to lol. He is such a cuddlier : ) I'm working on the fingers so pictures soon of the right hand.

I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )

Also on the stocking front we have 891 Socks left to go you read more info on the side of the blog. Thank you guys for all your help!!
