I can now show you two of my test knits too, YAY!

This is the Nautilus Sock and I tested it back in January, very fast pattern.

I have had the glitz yarn for some time but wasn't sure what to use it on...I love it on this sock.
This is a recent test knit, it's the shawl I blogged about earlier this month.
I'm going to give it to my grandmother for Christmas, it's the Ivy Wrap.

I also got Kallie's bag felted she seemed to like it so YAY!

While mom was up she showed me how to work the coasters I had trouble with and then got me started on a Crochet Tote by Plymouth

Yesterday I also started on Roo's Twirly skirt. I changed the pattern for in the round and just CO 4sts less than what the numbers added up to. Since this is only knit now it's a great take with you project. I decided not to do the I-Cord, I was worried it wouldn't stay up and umm I didn't want to knit all that I-cord either. So I knitted a section until it would fold over the elastic (yes that is Elvis elastic teehee), then I picked up the first row of sts and knit it with the row I was working on...will hold the elastic in place.

I'm keeping the colors of what she has picked out but breaking the beige sections up so now I'll start purple...then before the blue I'll add more beige. Have I mentioned before I liked things in patterns?
I'm still working away on the shawl too but now that it's wider takes me longer to work a section.
