Of course it was dress up rehearsal so that meant fitting in time for hair and getting everything in place. Ruthie was so excited she just smiled the whole time!

I'm not the type of girl that fixes hair, mine now is short...but before then it was just in a pony tail. I didn't even own a can of hairspray lol. I was very excited about how it looked in the end : )

Isaiah was bored during the practice but did very good for me

They practiced their opening number, main number, and closing number... we then ran home to wait for mom...we had to be back at the school at 7.

At 7 we had to return for the father/daughter dance.
I teared up every time they practiced this. They danced to Steven Curtis Champman's "Cinderella". It was very touching....

After we left practice we walked outside and seen the hot air balloons, we always have a festival this time of year.

As we drove around town to head out to DQ we spotted several others

The kids loved them

Then we returned home for a bit before heading back out to see the fireworks display. It was suppose to start at 9:30 but was about 10-15mins late and then only lasted for 10 mins lol.
We then headed back home and waited for the big day to come, Saturday...more with that later on : )
