Usually this time of year brings a strong feeling of home sickness, I’m not sure why. Maybe it's because I know school is ending soon and we will have more time to head to WV. The feeling of being homesick for the mountains I don’t think ever stops but you get busier and find ways to just bury it down deep until it rears its ugly head and won’t be pushed down anymore. I think it might be also because I know my grandfather doesn’t feel well, he goes for some test on the 14th but they have kinda said he is 89 you know…they did put him on a new med and hopefully this will help the spells he has been having, if it doesn’t, an none of his arteries are blocked then he will pretty much just continue having them. Please keep him in your prayers : )

Yesterday we went out to visit some folks and then JD took me out to eat for Mother’s Day, it was nice to spend some time together…lately we are always on the go. After that we went to a river that was close by and to show the kids, the two pictures above are from there, the kids really seemed to enjoy it.

JD showed them how to skip rocks and before we left Isaiah was able to get them skipping but Roo was still having trouble.

We then walked up to the dam and the water was gushing out the kids really thought that was neat!

After that we went to a nearby school and let them diddle on the playground for a bit they had to try everything and hated to leave when it was time.

When we made it home our little bunny was out and about, Roo then tried to catch it with no luck, all in all I had a wonderful Mother’s Day and hope you all did too!!
As for this past week it has been very busy between school, sports, and having a yard sale. I kept meaning to get a picture of the yard sale, we had soo much stuff…7 families went in together. I was there from Tuesday on, only taking Friday to get some things caught up. It was a long week and the ones who worked it were drained by Saturday evening. We had 3 or 4 trips go to Salvation Army…

This week at school was also The right to read week at school, they have a book fair and guest come in to read to the kids. They also have fun things the kids can take part in for $.25 with the money going towards books. Thursday was crazy hair day lol, it didn’t last long Isaiah said but some got to see it standing up on all ends…

Friday was the end and they had pastries for parents we get to go have a doughnut and drink with the kids, I think it’s a way to get you into the book fair lol. Isaiah’s class then had AR testing which we did and then finished the day up with a “Read-In” They brought in pillows/snacks/drinks/favorite books…and spent the rest of the day reading.
Knitting wise I haven’t had time for much at all…hopefully things will calm down soon. I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )
