A busy week

This week has been one hectic week, I feel like I haven’t stopped much at all. We started out on Sunday by going out for a drive; it was a pretty long drive that took us into some Amish country.

We were also busy this week with make-up dance class, church, dance class, and Valentine’s party at school. Tomorrow I really gotta get caught up on my housework. Isaiah doesn’t have school so he is pretty excited. Oh yes and in the middle of the craziness JD and me found ourselves re-making the candy MP3 players, thanks to Yeager who figured out how to get out of his kennel one evening : /

Yesterday I spent most of the day working on Isaiah’s valentine box, if you remember the story from last year I really had to make up for it…cause Isaiah hadn’t forgotten. Everyone seemed to like it, esp Isaiah…he loves castles and diddling with them so now he can also use it with his men.

Meet Max.

Yesterday evening I went out to holler at the boys to come in when I seen a little puppy just sitting there…I said something to him and he went all crazy and was so excited. Since he had a collar I called the local shelter to see if anyone had reported him missing, they thought it sounded familiar…after hanging up with them about 5-10 mins later a lady called and said he was hers. She said that she was on her way to Dayton and couldn’t get him ‘cause her dad was having surgery on Thursday so could I keep him till Friday? I said yes, that would be ok…did I ask her name? No…where she is from? No…all I have is her cell phone # on my ID caller. Right before we hung up she said oh he is about 6 mos old and not housebroken…ummm hrmm. So he is sitting in the dog carrier till tomorrow.

Today after dance class we rushed home, Roo changed, scarfed down some lunch and headed to the school. The Valentine party was crazy I think the kids were sneaking in the treats while it was going on lol. We had different sections for them to rotate between.

The Game section, which was mine we had Bingo, Fish for love (candy), and then relay races but that was crazy so we only did one lol.

Then you had a craft section where you made little door hangers

The activity center to color and work puzzles

Craft center where the girls made valentine bracelets and the boys made little pins.

They all seemed to have a good time. Even Roo who found Brooke (in her dance class)

This afternoon the boys and Roo played outside with Max to get him some exercise where we gone for most of the day, it was windy here but nice…Yeager loves playing with Max but I didn’t catch any good photos of them together.

Here is Isaiah running him through the field…

I went to knitting tonight with Bobbie and Jeanette, had a great time and hopefully we can meet up again next month. I took my camera but remembered after Jeanette left that I had it…so next be prepared ladies lol : )

As for knitting this week I just haven’t sat long enough to do any…tonight has been the first in awhile…I’m hoping soon I can find more time!

I love the class Valentine's pix, especially since I can't get to any of the parties! Thanks for that pic of Graham, too. He looks so happy, doesn't he? The castle box turned out great. I want to know since when did Valentine's boxes become so elaborate and competitive? Gavin's class voted on who had the best. That's a lot to live up to!!
