As normal as can be with Gideon in a sweater : )

This week the snow and ice finally stopped and by Friday it had began to warm up some, with today being even warmer. Hopefully all the ice on the driveway and walk way will be gone by tomorrow. Isaiah also got to have a full week of school; they haven’t got to do that in a long time!

On Super Bowl Sunday I went to the VacShak for their Super Bowl sale and got yarn for JD’s sock (replace the ones that were felted), FIL’s scarf, and dad’s sweater (yep the yarn is officially in!). Then we headed to Dresden to watch a wrestling match, but never found it…it was cancelled or something. We then watched the game even though JD is not a big NFL watcher and Roo couldn’t wait to use her 3-D glasses. I didn’t figure she would be able to see the difference or know why they were wearing them, but she did, we had to rewind it for her, and then the next day she watched it (daddy thought she might want to and recorded that part for her).

I haven’t had much time for knitting this week but I decided I needed to do something fun and fast, so I began Gideon a sweater, why not? : ) Now Bella will get after my animal fiber yarn so I gotta put it up but she never touches acrylic (yarn snob maybe?) so imagine my surprise one morning when she had drug it upstairs…the picture above is after the kids rescued it and put it on the coffee table…she got it back down. It was kinda like if the sweater isn’t for me he can’t have it either lol.

Here is Gideon trying on his sweater his belly measured 19” but I went with 18” since it was ribbing…doesn’t he look sooo happy?

Also this week we have been busy making candy MP3 players, we made enough for Roo’s dance class, Isaiah’s class, and then extras for friends that are not in either of those. Roo was very good about helping me…Isaiah seemed to keep finding reasons not to help even though he wanted them hrmmm… : ) He also had to sign his valentine cards to his classmates.

Here is a close up of what they look like

Tonight I finished Gideon’s sweater and couldn’t wait to try it on him (which is why there is still loose ends) and I figured he would just strike a pose and I would get a wonderful photo of him *humpf*…

He wouldn’t even look at me…

Still won’t

Nope not yet

Eek what a face, ok so he didn’t like it and he wouldn’t even walk in it, so I took it off of him and put it on Bella…

...who didn’t like it one bit, plus it was huge on her so she could walk out of it…but look in the corner, who decided to get mad when the sweater was on the other cat?

The other knitting item I have to show you guys is this sock done lol I still gotta finish the match : )

I hope you all have a wonderful day of knitting!

Dustina that's too funny! Gideon has the look on his face like; hey that's mine, take it off. Even though he knows he's not wearing it. Cats are so funny!

Those candy mp3's are really cute!! What a fun idea.
And Gideon looks very handsome but cats and sweaters just don't seem to go together, lol!

Hey the MP3 players look neat. I see Gideon didn't like his sweater. The blue looks good on him.

I told your dad the commercials were in 3-D. He said maybe that's why they made no sense to him. lol The kids look cool in their glasses. Love you guys. Mom

If Captain Jack had a sweater, he would sleep on it! Love the sock. It turned out really cute.
