Pretty much my day except one fall happened yesterday while trying to carry groceries up the hill. The second fall happened today when I noticed the mail man put something in my garage. As I was walking down the walk way, that the snow had wonderfully melted from and left nice ice for me, I fell and came down on the right knee (left knee was yesterday). That is when the rock way said hello to my hammer…Prolly not the best way to handle the situation but there is no ice on the walk way and I feel better. ; )
That brings us to the two cats, they have enjoyed a relaxing warm cozy day here. This is what I found when I came back inside. : )

On the knitting front I haven’t touched my needles since Wed. which is odd for me. I decided on my memorial sock pattern, Kaylee. I was disappointed when I searched my computer and realized it was no longer saved. This is odd because I usually never go in and delete things because of this fear of something no longer being available to me at the touch of a mouse. So I decided that I would make whatever pattern I had in my sock binder (thinking I only had printed out Clementine) and there I found Kaylee, YAY! So I’m going to make a purple pair of Kaylee’s.
The Valentine’s Party was a lot of fun. I was told that he could decorate a box for the valentine cards or they would decorate a bag the day of. So our box was a tissue box that had glued construction paper on it with stickers…and hearts… (Ya’ll seen it in another blog post) I go in and the first thing every child asks me is why a tissue box? Isaiah came over to me and said “mommy, they laughed when I pulled mine out”, I’m thinking why? Then I look and I can’t believe what I see. They had super duper cool cute boxes (Isaiah told me one had a mask and the mouth would open and close). JD asked me if I missed a memo and I say I must have. I felt horrible. I never once thought you were suppose to do that…I thought it was suppose to come from the child. So when we got out to the car I told Isaiah now that mommy knows what to expect you wait till next year lol. I told him I was sorry but I didn’t know. I mean when I was in school we stapled paper together and taped it to the front of our desks. He told me that “is ok mommy, I liked my box.” *sigh* such a sweet boy. : )
Oh and the hedgehogs have been named Trinity and Greenball…I hope you all have a great day of knitting!!
