Happy Birthday Roo bug!!

This morning Roo came running down the steps, all excited. She said “mommy, mommy, it snowed just for me!!” I think it did ‘cause I watched the weather earlier and it said just a few flurries, we ended up with some on the ground lol.

I had wrapped her gifts last night and put them under the tree for her, I let her open one after we took Isaiah up to catch the bus. JD had stayed home and we let her open one more around lunch time. We told her after that she had to wait for Isaiah lol, she kept running to look at the clock and see if it was time.

We made her cake and diddled around most of the day, as soon as Isaiah stepped through the door she was off to get her gifts. She was not waiting anymore; she seemed to be happy with everything she got, esp the baby doll. She carried it around like crazy after she figured out that it made no sound or did anything extra. She also got her Sleeping Beauty doll and the new DVD, another Barbie she wanted along with a baby mermaid she wanted. She is not really into stuffed animals but every since she seen that bear she wanted it, so she was very happy to have it.


After that Isaiah went to wrestling sign ups and she had to wait patiently for him to return, so we could have some cake. I don’t know which was harder on her waiting all day to open gifts or waiting on the cake lol.



We had the sprout channel on all afternoon, this is Roo’s favorite channel and she always has to watch the birthday wishes. Usually we catch it in the morning but this morning was an off one. I had to keep it on and keep an eye for the next time they showed it. She sat there for a minute with a look of hrrmm that is familiar. To is that meeeee?? It is meee…I’m on TV!! She loved it and was so excited.

All in all she had a great birthday, we love you little Roo bug!!


Gideon is also doing well, still pouting that he can’t go outside. This was his I give up attempt this afternoon. He thought if he sat in the window and cried I would give in. Instead he ended up taking a nap : )
