Ok I’m a little late with this post lol, I was hoping to post on Christmas Eve and wish you all a Merry Christmas, but it was very hectic with last minute details. We didn’t even stop and get in bed till after 1, so then my goal was to post on Christmas day and say Merry Christmas and remember the reason for the season, but again it was another busy day. I didn’t even sit down and do “nothing” till 9 and then we were in bed earlier. Then my goal was to post on Friday but again with running around and cleaning the house it just didn’t happen, so today finally I’m able to get a post on here : ) Let me begin with I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and hope you all have a blessed New Year!! The above picture is of Bella enjoying her stocking, she went crazy over the toys lol.
I also received a couple of ornaments from our Christmas ornament swap, when we first started this we had 13 swappers, sadly we lost a dear friend a couple of years ago…along with personal issues a couple of others have stopped. There are still several of us who I am in contact with often, but this year it was hectic and crazy so not many swapped. Even I was running around till the last possible day, I had decided on knitted angels and then corn starch them, of course I waited till the last day before to starch them and ended up with a mess. So I had to start over and wondered if I would make it, I did and they got in the mail a little late though lol.

We usually met online and exchange e-mails while we open but this year we just couldn’t get the schedules worked out so we decided earlier this week to just open when we could. I opened Brendajos first to discover the goodies she had included, first everything was in pretty bags, she is doing really really good on her new sewing hobby. The blue bag above is now holding Roo’s sweater that I’m working on, the plaid bag held the ornaments, you also see the little starfish and heart she gave me with a cute poem,, there was another bag but Roo took it right away and didn’t wanna take a chance on my taking a picture of it : )

Here is one of her ornaments hanging on the tree, it’s so pretty and she did a lovely job, I know it had to have taken a lot of time to cut all those pieces out and create the flowers. It’s very pretty!! Thank you, I love it!!

Next was Dawn’s and it included a pretty Hawaiian Christmas cards, macadamia nuts, and a very pretty ornament that again I know had to take a lot of time to make.

Here is a picture of it on the tree, thank you so much, I love it!!!
I’ll post picture of the ornaments I made when I know they have all had a chance to open them…I wish I had gotten the lace ornaments to work out grrr…

Awhile back I also posted about working on the girl’s purses, well I did get them done in time and even finished Roo one, but barely. I took Roo’s off the needle on the 23rd and felted them on Christmas Eve and then added the snowflakes once they were dry on Friday. Above is Roo’s in a hot pink and purple that she picked out, it has a bright blue base lol.

Here is one of the girl’s they can choose when they see them which color they want…

And here is the other one, YAY!!
I also finished up a test knit that Isaiah was able to put to good use, I’ll share it when I can. Now I’m ready to work on the hat kits that mom got us and maybe finish Roo’s sweater lol.
I hope you all have a great day of knitting!! : )
