Guess who is home?????

Oh my word what a week this has been. I tell ya I’ve never cried so much at the drop of a hat. Walking into the bathroom, sitting down to knit, driving, grocery shopping, you name it!.

I have wondered all long if someone had him, since he was usually close to home, and I had done everything to find him. Door to door, vet’s offices, shelters, radio, phone calls, more door to door, more shelter visits…and I just knew that yesterday we would be home for Thanksgiving!

It was nice and warm and sunny, so I thought maybe if someone did have him he would try and make his escape then lol, I was so disappointed when JD got up and he wasn’t out there.

We went on with our day and had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, although I kept checking the door and looking. I made my first turkey yesterday!! I’ve only did turkey roasts before this. I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving!

Here is my first turkey and stuffed

Here is the apples/homemade rolls/cranberry sauce.

Here is the yams, corn, greenbeans, mac-a-cheese for Roo…all that is missing from the picts is the mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie.

Also now that I’m happier lol I will show you guys what I was working on before this all went crazy.

Here are the two purses I knitted last weekend; I just have to felt them now.

Here is the scarf I started so I would have something to do during Roo’s dance class, it’s for Mr.C this Christmas.

Here is some wrist warmers I started on yesterday just gotta finish the match up.

And best of all…here is Gideon’s welcome home scratch photo. JD was walking up our driveway and there he sat on our porch, YAY!

He was very tired and very very hungry but now he is all curled up in here with me and snoring lol, he was missing from Monday morning till this afternoon.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful words and prayers!! You guys are the best and I’ll catch up with the comments/forums/e-mails on Sunday night : )
