Football Season Begins

Today JD is attending his first WVU game of the season, we drug out the ol’ Mountaineer flag, WVU bucket, window clings, and gold and blue tencel for the Mantel…oh yeah, turned the WVU light back on. Go Mountaineers!! : )

As far as my day well I have been knitting of course lol. I started Roo these mittens on Thursday. She told me today I did a great job and listened to her teach about wanting a rose on them, to get busy on the 2nd lol. At first the white was up more on the cuff but I frogged them back and started them over. I could just see that white after a couple of days of wear. I also went to knit night on Thursday and had a good time. Although, we missed One Knitty and hope she can make it to the next one. : )

Mostly my knitting time, house work, anything time has been consumed with one thing, the Civil War Shawl. I’m getting ready to start Rnd 152 YAY!! That’s 1,280 stitches in one Round, I’m still hoping to have it all done so we can block it next weekend *fingers crossed*

The kids are doing good and yesterday, Isaiah was off from school. We headed out for our 2wk grocery shopping trip and they had some money from mom to spend. Roo looked over all her choices and went with a big thing of play food, so many pieces of play food!! Isaiah knew exactly what he wanted it was Bakugan and he got 6 of those balls and the cards to open them for 22.00…I think he is crazy but it’s the “in” thing right now, but I won’t be buying those like I did the Pokemon cards for him lol.

Well I’m going to go start that next Rnd of the CW shawl and hope you all have a great day of knitting : )
