So instead you are going to see pictures of the kids making this special someone their birthday cake and you might catch a glimpse of him as well. I should warn knit readers that this has nothing to do with knitting : )

First we have Roo pouring the water into the cake batter

Second up is Isaiah pouring the oil into the cake batter

Third is them both cracking the eggs

Fourth we have them stirring the cake

Fifth after I had poured the cake into the pan and it was ready for the oven, they got to lick the spoons

Now it was time to light the cake, I thought all the candles made it look festive, he thought I was taking a shot at him and his age : )

Here we go time to blow out the candles…as you see Roo is sitting back away this is ‘cause she took most of the candles out before someone could say ‘go’ lol.

Here is Isaiah chowing down on the cake…I think he likes it

Here is Roo also enjoying the cake
As for the someone he says he had a good birthday. I fixed him one of his favorite meals:
Meatballs in Montgomery Inn Sauce
Country Style Bush’s Beans
Corn on the Cob
We also went for a mile walk at the track and on Saturday he is going to go paintballing.
If you haven’t guessed already the special someone is JD. I hope you had a wonderful birthday sweetie, and I love you MORE…HA! : )
