I finished Roo's sun dress last night and she loves it. You never know with her if it will fly or not, but she has already requested to where it to VBS tomorrow. You can't take a photo of her without having her strike a pose : )

Here is a close up of the dress so you can see the colors without my editing that I do to all the kids' photos.
Details: Sugar Plum Pattern
Needles: 6 & 10
Yarn: Plymouth Fantasy Naturale in Multi and Solid
CO/FO: 5/31/08-6/2/08

We also drug out the bedazzler yesterday and I must say that I'm missing the easiness to this. Each bead has 4 prongs and sometimes 2 close after you push it through the shirt, sometimes 3, but you never get all 4. She loves it though until it started to pinch her lol, I'll have to figure out something to put on the back of it. The shirt says Dance! : )
As for other knitting news, I'm getting ready to decide on my next sock pattern. The 52 pair plunge started on Sunday and I haven't touched sock yarn since I frogged the SKP.
As for kids news, they are attending VBS (Vacation Bible School) this week and loving it. Roo was disappointed at first 'cause she didn't have her Wed. night teacher but she is having fun. Isaiah enjoying it 'cause his friend is going with him. Today I asked them what did they learn and they said "there was a blind man and Jesus took mud and spit and made him see again" LOL...hopefully that doesn't turn into an experiment here with mud and spit. They also said that they had to put oatmeal over their eyes today along with a sweat band to see how it feels to be blind. I'm so glad they didn't try that with the pre-K class, Roo would have lost it lol.
Oh and tonight on the FX channel at 10pm a new show 30 Days is starting. This guy goes and works, does everything with a family for 30days and his first gig is being with a WV coal minning family. I just hope they show the coal miners in good light lol and not the typical way they show WV families on TV : P
We have been enjoying the outdoors although today is suppose to be nothing but rain, storms, and wind. It's not as warm either...
I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )

Beautiful dress on a precious girl!
As for the bedazler (sp?) I would think it would be super simple. Do you need to put a bit of interfacing on the back of the shirt to make it more 'stiff' so the prongs will fold? How's it work on jeans?
Roo's dress is so cute. Boy you are a fast knitter. I know she is a cute little girl, but still...that's quick.
I think 30 days will do your state proud. That guy seems to very fair and even handed in his apporach. I missed it but I'll have check online for it.
Thanks!!
Julie~I'm not sure how it works on jeans...she has some canvas shoes and it did ok on those...it even tore around some of the beads..not happy : )
Jenny~He did a great job on the show and he is from WV...I had no idea that he was from Beckley..
She is a cutie and using bigger needles help with the speed lol : )
