Ok, so I decided to do a Sherman's Short row on Sydney, since dotty showed me this I only use this. It is just so easy and fast but sometimes that's not always the best lol. I also got Sydney past the first repeat on the leg and decided to try it on, it didn't want to go over my heel and when I finally made it *gasp* so tight, so horrible, and going to the pond.
I decided to look around a bit and realized a few had that problem and I wondered if it wasn't the change of yarn. The original called for the Crystal Palace yarn that has elastic in it...so I decided to message the designer and the new pattern should be up soon. It has left her hands just waiting for CP to put it up and the cuff has more sts and a longer gusset. I don't know if the Sherman would work with more cuff sts or not but I think I'll just stick with a gusset. I'm hoping they will be my May socks...but what to knit for April? : )

Oh! Well, I like the socks so far although I would like them better without the circulation being cut off. That yarn is great with that diamond pattern.
