A little bit of this and that....

*Thank you all for the wonderful cards and b-day wishes!! They really meant a lot to me and what a surprise!! : )*

I went to town on Friday to do our 2wk grocery shopping and came across glass bottles of Coca Cola. This is the best way to drink coke but around here you don't see them very often. They only had one 6pk left so I grabbed and debated about just sitting it out on display, but the temptaion was to much. A good cold coca cola! : )

Here is the update on Roo's top, I've done all the increases and now it's just getting the length. I'm knitting in the round with 2circs this way I can try it on her at any point. The safety pin was the last try on point and letting me know I still had a ways to go. : )

On Any sock there has been a lot of talk about different knitting methods and so I went off reading trying to figure out a good purl. I knit continental and the purl has always been slower for me, it is still pretty fast but not the speed I would like. I use my thumb to help the st over as I have small fingers and the middle finger just won't reach down and help that over. I was reading about Norwegian Purl and realized that KH has a video on it, I'm not sure how I missed that before. I watched it earlier today and then went for Roo's top since it has some purling and wow...what a difference it made and I like to purl now. : )

I haven't worked on the purse I mentioned in the last post and not sure I'll get to for awhile. I really need to put Roo's top on hold and get some socks finished for April.

The kids are doing good and counting down for different things. Isaiah is counting down for summer and Roo is counting down for Whitlee. Only thing is we still don't know when school will be out or when Whitlee will be here. So basically I just keep hearing "when?” I'll be glad when I have some dates for them and we can do a real countdown. Roo had a rough day yesterday but she is feeling like her self again today. : )

I hope you guys have a great day of knitting! : )

I used to drink Coca Cola, from bottle straight from the fridge and still remembered the "bluping" sensations!

Roo's top is turns out nice...keep going, and soon it will be a beautiful top.
