Pretty as a Picture!

I was in Wal-mart yesterday and found this picture. I had seen it when it was at the regular price but didn’t get it. I kept thinking how nice it would look above my mantel, yesterday when I located it again it was on clearance…the first sticker had 9.00 the second sticker had 4.00 woohooo. So glad I didn’t buy it that first day! Isn’t it pretty? Lol

We of course are getting more snow woke up this morning with it pouring the snow. I couldn’t believe that they didn’t cancel school. Now it’s kinda mixing with rain so it should be fun out there tonight. I will be happy when I see spring or just the grass again lol. : )

I have been knitting some, the kids had seen the socks I made for the Charity knit night and asked me for a pair. I decided to just wing their socks so for Roo’s I co 30 sts and for Isaiah’s 34 sts…just a K1, P1…sherman’s heel, and then finished them up with a regular toe. I only had one skein of the Jellybeanz yarn for each. I cut it very close on Isaiah’s sock, but they love them and are skating around the house in them lol. I told JD I wanted to make them a sweater out of the yarn…it was very nice to knit with but the colors are a little bright. They don’t seem as bright in the photo, Isaiah’s is a real lime green and then Roo’s is a bright purple.




The Hemlock got put on the backburner…I need to finish up the matching bootie and get busy on the Hemlock again. I also want to make a pair of girl booties and a little crib/doll purse set. Here is the Hemlock the color isn't right...it's more of a mulberry color.



I’m also eagerly waiting for the March Sockamania pattern and the SKP2008 to get started!!

Oh, after a few e-mails, Little Knits is working with mom to make the situation right. I’m glad to hear this.
