A nice day out and about

Yesterday we went over to Easton for awhile. I had wanted to see the Container Store since I found out that one existed on Oprah. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t know about this store. It was really nice and I could have spent a lot longer in there but the kids didn’t find it as interesting as I did, and Roo was ready to build a bear.

This was the first time we had went into Build a Bear Workshop and it was very different and crowded. She picked out the bear she wanted and then we walked over to the stuffing area, the lady was very nice and had Roo do several different things to the heart; give it a kiss, rub it on your belly, put it on your nose, pat it…Then we went to find it some clothes for the bear…whoa they had so much to chose from she didn’t know where to go or what to look at. We found a cute little shirt she liked and some socks lol. Then she fluffed it dry which I think we were supposed to do before she dressed it lol but oh well. She also got a free t-shirt and pretty blue ribbon for its ear. She is ready to go back and really enjoyed it. All Isaiah wanted was his Pokemon cards. He didn’t find the Diamond pack that just came out but found some others. The Easter Bunny will have to try and track down the diamond pack for him.

After all this JD took us to Hoggys and recommended the Pig Platter with Chicken. It was really good the portions were huge so I couldn’t eat it all even though I was starving lol.

The whole time in the car I’m working away on the SKP sock thinking I’m doing so well!! I come home and had the first repeat finished so I go to check out things and people are already finished!! I couldn’t believe it…I’m not sure how to win a month this way…maybe sleep during the day next time so at Midnight I’m ready to roll?? Lol.

I’m using the Orange from Bamboo Village Supply. I was doing good till I realized on the 2nd repeat I had forgotten to do the last 2 purl rows on the left side…I dropped down those 5 sts about 15 rnds and fixed them…

Other than just enjoying the sun today and hoping it means spring will be here soon! : )

Hope you have a great day of knitting!!
