Ok normally I’m the first to say yay pretty white snow, as long as everyone is safe and counted for. I don’t like it when I know JD is making the long drive to work in it. However, this year we have gotten a lot of snow and ice to the point that I just want to see the grass again and to see the sun on a daily basis lol. It is pretty and will help with the bugs this summer lol just need to be able to get out I guess.
I removed Little Knits from my Let’s shop. I know others have had trouble with them in the past. I never did and if something was wrong with my order Sue went out her way to make it right. I was the first to post this when I read somewhere a complaint on how they were having trouble getting their orders…telling them to be patient cause Sue will fix it. Well now I’m having serious doubts with them.
Mom placed an order in December and never received it. Mom is not one to complain at all and in fact she didn’t even e-mail them till the beginning of February to see if there was a delay. She was told to check her PO’s end because their end still had it in Washington. So mom took the info to her PO and they said the same thing still in Washington. Then the communication stopped on Little Knits end and mom hated to call or bother them. I told her you need to let them know they should make that right.
So she e-mailed them yesterday to tell them she hadn’t received it she wasn’t trying to complain, but could they refund her money? She was told it wasn’t their fault she didn’t get it they could do no more. She had to just wait and hope for the best that it turns up in the mail. What? I mean you can’t even give her a store credit? You can’t refund? You can’t make it right? This wasn’t a small order either it was a pretty hefty order of yarn. Not to mention that mom has been buying from them on a regular basis for a year or more. I just can’t believe that. So I have removed their link from my Let’s Shop.
On the knitting end I started a pair of socks for Roo and I figured out how many to CO myself, pretty excited about that. I always just follow a pattern. I made it just a simple K1, P1 sock with a Sherman heel, and a regular toe. After I finish her pair I’m going to make Isaiah a pair. Then maybe I’ll be brave enough to try a pattern on a sock lol.
I hope you guys have a great day of knitting!! : )
