Last week she started private Hip Hop lessons with Javin and another little boy. She had Hip Hop last year and wasn’t too sure about it. She is very focused on her moves and likes to know the steps, hip hop was fast. She wasn’t feeling it like ballet, in fact we were not gonna do Hip Hop this year. Till she heard how her friend Javin would be doing it and it was his first year, she then said she would go back for one more year.
Javin and the other little boy wanted to do the private lessons to get used to dance before it started in Sept. and Roo went in with them. So far she is loving it- she can ask the teacher questions, it is slower, they go over the moves slower, and so I think it is helping her feel more confident in this dancing style.
She also started dance camp last week and had a blast!
They decorated their own sunglasses, made lip gloss, got all decked out in glitter, painted each other’s nails, and learned different dances to the pop stars of today.

Tonight starts the beginning of football for us with camp, Isaiah is looking forward to getting started back. : )
