The kids were very excited to have Friday off and they each had a friend over. This was Haylee's weekend with her grandparents so the girls were between both houses, and Isaiah had Brennen over for some X-Box fun. Coming back from walking Haylee over Roo was trying to catch snowflakes.

It was still coming down pretty good Friday night

Our n'bors are really good people and they have been clearing out our driveway for us with their 4-wheeler. It takes some getting used to, before where we lived I would shovel us out and the n'bor out. I hope someone is digging out the n'bors there.

On Saturday it was a very pretty day but soo cold!

The kids had not really been able to get out in the snow 'cause of the temps. We decided on Saturday they could go out for just a little bit. They decided to go sledding : )

The first attempt they didn't go very far at all

The second attempt was disaster as they all tried to jump onto the sled

Isaiah then decided they needed to take turns going down one at a time

Haylee followed

Roo was not going down by herself, so Isaiah took her. She screamed the whole way lol

On Sunday our deer were back hadn't seen them in a long time. The momma is limping pretty bad though

Here is one of her other babies
Here is video I took of them they were trying to clear a spot to get to the grass. I apologize for the quality but I was standing in the nice warm house trying to film through the bay window...and they were way down by the little white shed lol. Now that we know they are still around we are going to put fed out for them.

I did get some knitting in too, I made this hat on Friday but wanted more length to it. I ripped it out and re-made it on Saturday (the picture was before the ends were weaved in).

Pattern: Hannah
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool Merino
Needle: Size 9
Mods: I added about 6 rows of St st before I started the decreases and made this in a worsted weight.
Stay tuned for Roo's mittens that have been frogged more times than I can count right now : )
Today the kids are back at school and no delays either, Roo was disappointed, but I think Isaiah was anxious to get back.
