Happy Birthday Isaiah!!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Isaiah...happy birthday tooo you!! Today you are the big N-I-N-E and we love you very much! Hope you had a wonderful day!!

I made cupcakes and took them to his classroom this afternoon along with juice boxes. The kids then sang "Happy Birthday" to him, which of course embarrassed him to no end: )

He left this morning saying that when he returned home he would be old. I asked him this afternoon if he felt bigger and he said he did and couldn't wait to be 10. I told him slow down enjoy 9 for now. I also told him that his cousin might have her baby today, he wanted to know boy or girl, and I said we don't know yet. He replied "I'll share my birthday with a boy but not no girl" he then got excited and said "hey when I'm 18 he will be 9 and I can play ball with him" aww so sweet! : )

I also put together his star wars blanket for him and had that waiting on his bed when he got home since he opened all his other gifts on Saturday. Who knew a boy would get that excited over a blanket but it sure did make ol' mom feel good : )
