This week though we have been doing it different since Isaiah has football camp. First, I make the kids a dinner around 4:30 so it can settle. Then I have been taking Isaiah down and then watch him till JD can make it there. It's very hard to keep Roo entertained there so we come home. Where we do the chores and fix another supper for when they get back from camp.

The Cows love their grain although they don't get as excited for me as when they see JD approach the barn. Last night they could hear him up on the deck and started moo-oooing... : )

We then feed our barn cats, of course the day I go down with the camera only two show up! This is Josie (striped one) and Emily (gray one) and usually they are joined by Josie's babies and a couple other barn cats.

Roo and I then move on to the two fish ponds and make sure they get their food.

I think this is soo pretty they only stay open in the morning though. They open for a day or two and then the petals fall off.

We then move to the deck where L.B. is waiting for his dinner. He is an older cat that the previous owners started feeding. He looks like he has had some rough battles. I also think he is the only male cat we have, he likes it that way.

Last night Bonnie was late coming to dinner, Josie ran out to greet her. They all do this even with L.B. rub all over one another like they just love each other...odd for cats. Gideon and Bella just sit in the front of the doors and hiss and growl at the barn cats, I think the barn cats would win though.

Then sometimes after camp and after dinner, we head out front where the kids play JD in a game of basketball. Roo always has to be on daddy's team lol

Yesterday the n'bors granddaughter was over, her and Roo have such a blast. It's so nice to see Roo playing like a girl, she is used to playing with Isaiah and Jackson. I love seeing her go get her dolls so they can play house and not a sword to do battle with! : )

I also got the bench together yesterday that mom gave us...now to find the perfect spot : )
I also got in some knitting time yesterday *shocked* and worked on the shawl, I'm on the last increase repeat. It's taking a while now to work on, no pictures since it looks the same all bunched up on the needles : )
I hope you all have a great day of knitting :sun:
