Oh the memories! I am a child of the 70's/80's, and I grew up listening to John Denver.
The slide show that accompanied this song was filled with the most gorgeous pictures!
Several years ago, my daughter's soccer team played in a tournament in Manassas, VA. I know it's not W. VA, but the scenery was divine!
To get to the fields, we had to drive along the skinniest country roads I've ever seen. There was, quite literally, only enough room for one car.
We drove forever, it seemed, and when we were amazed when the the dense tree line opened up to reveal huge soccer fields nestled between a lake and the biggest hill I've ever seen!
Ahhh...thanks for helping me to recall such beautiful memories.
