WWKIP Day

Yesterday we had our Knit in Public day here in town, and it was a lot of fun. If you remember from last year I took my knitting to the local park and knitted by myself lol.

I got there just a little after 9 and was happy to see two fellow knitters, already knitting away.

By 10 we had grown even more

and by lunch time we had even more along with food!

We then enjoyed lunch, and have to figure out what Hilde made and how lol, they were good!

I thought it was kinda chilly yesterday although it was a beautiful day. We always had a breeze and for the most part was overcast. We did move our chairs to follow the shade although I hunted for warmth in the sun.

It was suppose to go on till around 5, but come 3ish everyone was starting to get tired. We did have one knitter show up around 4 but we were all pretty much ready to go. I think next year we are going to start at 10 and go till 4 : )

I worked all day on Roo's skirt and I'm almost finished, YAY! It was nice to other projects and see different yarns too. One knitter was using a ribbon yarn and it was very pretty. I think I could make Roo a nice pretty tank top from that hrmmm...

I hope you all had a wonderful day of Knitting in public!

Looks like you had a great time. Linda H., Shirley and I knitted in front of a small craft-quilting shop in Lavesy, Wv. It was really a nice little shop to knit at. Small group but a great morning to knit. We even has some people out of state come by and take our picture. lol
