Some Finished Objects

I finished up my wrap yesterday, with just enough yarn. I had lost some of the yarn due to Bella and was worried I would have to run out for some more. It was a very easy knit, I just got bored with it lol. I needed the size 3 needle though for a shawl I'm starting so I had to finish the wrap to get the needle back : )

I thought this was the first garment type thing that I've made for myself but I was wrong. I made the ChicKami back in 2007. I forgot all about it till I was switching out my winter/summer clothes. I don't think I even wore it last year. Excuse the picture Roo took it and well I'm taller than her and plus the tank needs a good blocking.

Ok back to the wrap for details...

Pattern: Shetland Shorty Wrap from Knitty
Yarn: Cascade Yarn Cotton Rich DK (5 skeins)
Needle: US 3 and 2
Mods: I only did 13 repeats for sections
Size: Small but it's a bit big esp in the arms...hoping a block will help them lay better
Frogged: oh about 4 times---1)Didn't read the pattern right and casted on way to many sts...2)Had to change needle size...3) Had to change size making...4)I know there was a reason but can't remember : )
Time: OH it took awhile cause I got bored.
Thanks to Auburnchick for knitting this first, that is where I seen it and knew I had to make myself one : )

I also then made this bookmark for Isaiah's teacher
Pattern: Tell Me a Tail Bookmark
Yarn: Left over sock yarn I think it's KP's Gloss
Needle: Size 1
Mods: None
Time: maybe an hour if that

I also made her a coaster, this was suppose to be a set of 4 but HA! I'm lucky to have this one done. I figured well I've did some crochet before I can figure this out. I need to thank Denise at the VacShak for helping me with round 2 and understanding what a post is. I need to thank mom for helping me last night on the phone for over an hour! Round 3 was a doozy for me : )

Pattern: Springtime Coasters
Yarn: Plymouth Fantasy Naturale (left over)
Crochet Hook: G
Time: FOREVER!

So now I'm working on a shawl and another felted bag : )

I hope you all have a wonderful day of knitting!

Girl you've been a knitting fool! Wish things would slow down here a bit to be able to do some of that myself. I love it all, can't pick a favorite.
