Snow then ice...then more snow equals slip n' slide

Last week we got back to normal, however this week the weather had another storm in store for us. First on Tuesday we had snow then we were suppose to see more snow, however when we woke up on Wed as you can see we seen ice. This post is basically just letting the pictures talk, Isaiah did get 3 days home from school this week, and however, now he has to make 2 of those days up.

This is a photo of our grapevine covered in ice.

Frozen Berries and then the snow came back

Roo's little pine tree that our n'bor planted for her.

Frozen part of bush

The tree/bush beside our garage is now bent over

The red barn, I love it out here when it snows!

Roo trying to walk down the pathway of ice and snow

Tree hanging over and blocking the roadway

One of the trees in the field, the branches are now all bent down

One of the pine trees in our yard

Close up of the pine tree above, showing the ice

Roo and me then went for a walk in the woods

Earlier in the day when outside you could hear the trees popping and snapping as they came crashing down.

I thought this was neat looking : )

Isaiah and Jackson met up with us in the woods, and so we headed to their fort

Walking to the fort

Their fort that they play around in the summer time.

There was maybe an inch/two on top of the ice so you would have to step down hard to break through. The kids were then picking up the big chunks of ice and trying to eat them.

Back inside and trying to get warm : )

Thankfully our power is still on, many others are without power in our area and other places the storm hit. I hope you all stay warm and safe!

Have a great day of knitting : )

Burr is all I think of. Well and it's very pretty too. Reminds me of the area I grew up in. Enjoy it & stay warm!

Beautiful pcitures but hopefully the ice will melt away soon, and not cause more trouble. The pictures of the barn and Roo in all that whiteness are lovely!
