Have you danced today?

Roo has started dancing to Garth Brooks in our living room. She puts the CD on turns it up, and just starts moving. I go in there and do my best dance with her of course ends up with us both laughing and her trying to give me pointers : )

Everything here has gotten back into the normal routine. Although that could change with the next snow we are expected to get over the next couple of days. They are saying we could get more than last and it’s a heavy snow. I don’t like that, fingers crossed that power doesn’t go off! As you can see Yeager has been given some dress up pointer, doesn’t he look just thrilled?

Isaiah is back into the swing of school and homework. He is also trying to save his money for Rock band. After Christmas he said he wished he would have asked for an Xbox 360, which Santa would have liked, he wouldn’t have had such a hard time getting stuff together for him. Anyways we told him that he could take the money that we normally put in his lunch account for the month and save that, now if you know Isaiah you know this is a hard task to do. He loves to eat, he will eat breakfast here and then eat again at school, and he also loves most school lunches. He agreed and the first 2wks were rocky with him breaking down and buying breakfast a couple of morning. He then decided if he could be driven to school every morning, so that he has no time to be tempted he would do better, and he has lol…oh yeah after playing rock band with Jackson he changed his mind on the 360 for now.

Roo was so excited to begin dance class again this week, she woke up and first thing from her was “is it cancelled, again”. She was ready an hour and half before we were suppose to even leave, and once there she wanted to know why the teacher kept canceling on her. She has also outgrown her toddler bed, sad day for mommy, so we are going to have to get a twin bed soon. Mommy’s little girl is growing up : (

The cats are doing well and seem to be actually getting along some. I decided to weigh Gideon, since JD likes to call him fatty and he only weighed 12.5 pounds so I don’t think that’s too bad, since he is a big cat lol. Of course Bella is still her small self, she still looks like a half grown kitten. They were in the bathroom today watching my socks soak lol, this really seemed to entertain them.

Then we have Yeager who has decided the best place in the house is in front of this heater, we fight over this spot. As soon as I get up he moves in, I like to set there while knitting. I don’t know how he stands it that close though, it gets very hot.

As far as knitting goes, I’ve been working on some test knits. These socks are the Farmer’s Wife and they are a test knit but the pattern has already been out, so I can show you my progress. The other pair is a pretty pair that I can’t wait to show you later ; )

JD wouldn’t let me take any pictures of him but he is doing good too…we are all just trying to stay warm, I’m also enjoying the new Gospel channel, they play the Gaither specials a lot, which I love.

I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )
