Josephine Ruth Cole

Grannie Cole, passed away on January 18, 2002 and was 79 years old, that has been one of the hardest days in my life. I still miss her deeply and think of her daily, I still get teary eyed when I think about her. I hope I can do her justice when telling my kids about her. She was one of those people that everyone loved and wanted to be close to. Ray and I were very lucky that we lived so close to them and got to spend so much time with them, although it still doesn’t seem like enough. She suffered so those last few months/years and I know she is in a better place, singing like she liked to do, laughing like she liked to do, and waiting for the rest of her family with open arms.

In Memory Of You
We want to always remember
The beautiful life you lived
And keep alive the memories we have
Through remembering what you did

For you’re so special to all of us
A wonderful person indeed
Your love, laughter and warm smile
Reflected a heart that believed

Just in the everyday things we do
We remember your faith and love
In the words you spoke to help us through
Is a continued reminder for us

Although we miss you so very much
We know we’ll see you once more
For this is the hope we have in God
Being re-united in the Lord

And as we gather we’ll continue to share
Special times we went through
For these are memories that warm our hearts
As we honor the memory of you

There was no other like her. She was one of a kind. I loved her very much, just like everyone else in the family. She is missed as much today as when she first left us. Linda (daughter-in-law)
