Gah! I made this block to send to the organizer of Ben’s blocks on KH. However, now I don’t know where I stuck the block. I know I put it up so the kids wouldn’t get it or cats (being green and white) and usually that would mean my knitting closet. This time though I’ve had one of those "I’ll put it here to be safe and know exactly where it is even though it’s not my knitting closet and then mail it out on the weekend." Well the weekend came and I couldn’t find the block, then we lost power for a week, then I still couldn’t find the block. Now to others it would be a simple make another, but this one was my best granny square EVER, mom helped me make it. It looked so good and I’m not sure I could make another one that good again. It has to be here somewhere! : )


In other news, I’ve been working on the Southend Hobo bag. It’s coming along pretty good after I READ the pattern, I’m a knitter who thinks oh I know how it will go, and usually that ends with me sitting and frogging lol. I’m really liking it and can’t wait to have it finished, I will be glad when I’m done with the bobbles though. We get along right to the very end and then it turns into a battle of yes you are going to be knitted together lol.


Also, last night I went to the LYS for the monthly KAL of The Great American Aran Afghan. I have wanted to make the afghan but also know that I need a reason to finish it. This way I need to have a block (or two) done before we meet again.

My first square is the church and it will be my center block. I think Bella is protesting the stitch markers in this photo, I have my Gideon and rag doll cats on this block (and the hobo, above), she is wanting to know when are you going to have my sm made?? (her eyes are really a very light blue which never take a good photo)



I won’t be able to make it to tonight’s KAL of the mystery shawl, this weekend I need to do major catch-up on that, so I snapped a picture of Denise she will be there, ok change of plans when viewing the photos, I couldn’t do that to Denise she was talking or something in the photo lol : )

This is also my favorite time of the year, fall. Although in October the TV networks try and ruin it for me, I’m not a scary Halloween movie fan at all. I won’t even decorate the house with witches and goblins, why? Because I’m a big ol’ Scaredy cat : )



Another reason why I love fall (besides nice boots, sweaters, pretty leaves, etc) ‘cause you can have Candied Apples, YAY! Although one bad side about fall is the fruit flies try to come in, but I will handle those little buggers tonight bwhahha ---evil laugh.
