Heading to the mountains : )

For the next 2wks I won’t be a Mountaineer knitter knitting in buckeye country, I’ll be a mountaineer knitter knitting in the mountain state! We are heading home for a visit although I hate leaving JD for that long and I’m leaving on our Anniversary (didn’t look at the calendar when I decided to combine the June/July trip). He will be on pet duty till he can join us then our n’bors will be lol. The above photo is not clothes oh no, it’s all KNITTING! I might have to cut back on that there ‘cause coming back it will be a tighter fit with a dog and a kennel : )

I’ve been busy knitting this week and finished my test knit of the stocking and it’s very cute. I’m going to make Isaiah one as well as Roo has claimed this one has hers. I’ll share it with you guys when I can : )


I also made a bath mitt for one of KH’s mom who is battling cancer. The forum is coming together thanks to Auburn Chick and knitting for her. AC will then send them on to her when she receives everything. I wasn’t sure what to send at first and went back and forth but hopefully I chose the right one. It’s pictured above and I used Linen Isle by Plymouth on size 5 needles. I love this yarn for bath mitts and sadly they are discontinuing it I don’t know what I’ll use after the LYS sells out! : )
