YAY, it’s the last day of school!

This morning Isaiah went off very upset that he had to say goodbye to first grade, he has told me several times he wants to stay there and not move on to 2nd lol. He had a card that he made for his bus driver and teacher, along with gifts for each. I just hoped he wouldn’t cry when it came to say bye to his teacher. I had told him that everyone else will be excited and you will get caught up in that, and I think I was right ; )

I was excited that today was going to be the last day so when I looked at my watch and it said 10 till 4, Roo and I took off. I wanted to get there in plenty of time to get pictures of the bus pulling in, Isaiah getting off the bus, and the walk home. So we go up and we sit, sit, sit and sit some more, finally I look at my watch again and realize that we left the house 10 till 3 and now it was 3:30 lol. Roo was not happy and wanted to go back home instead of waiting till 5 after 4.

So we head back home and call JD to let him know of my newest Duh moment (he is use to them) and count the minutes away. Again the clock reads 10 till 4 so we take off so I can try for the pictures one more time…as you can see she was early today lol.

The bus driver had a cooler on the bus and gave the kids popsicles as they got off and she included one for Roo.

As you can tell Isaiah is now happier that the last day was over. He had a good day…

When we got home the kids and Isaiah’s friend, hit the slip-n-slide that I had set up earlier, I had a few duh moments with it as well and JD had to direct me over the phone, I excuse it with I’ve never been on one before : )

They had a blast and the boys really showed Roo how to do it, when I first set up she would just walk down it. The boys took right to it and had me laughing so hard and shutting my eyes at the same time. I just knew someone would get hurt.

As they diddled with the slip-n-slide, I worked on Roo’s new sun dress that I’m making her. The pattern is found here and is really cute. I had these 2 yarns in my stash and was just going to use the variegated but when she seen the teal she asked if it could be on it too.

To bring the day to a close, Gideon decided to catch a baby bunny. It's hurt but we can't tell how bad. I have it in one of the cat carriers right now and tomorrow when we take Bella to get her stitches out, hopefully they will look at the bunny : )

I hope you all have a wonderful day of knitting : )

**Please, remember mom’s friend as she goes in tomorrow…right now they are not sure if they will get to take the lung or not, as they don’t think the other is strong enough. Thank you **

No ideas on the bunny, poor thing-keep it outside though & steralize the cat container tonmorrow to get rid of any parasites.
Roos dress is so cute! Are you using cotton too?
Give the kids a hug & give Isaiah a high 5 for finishing 1st grade!!!

Oh no! Boo-boo bunny. Hope the bunny is okay. As long as there are no boo-boo kids you're good to go.
Like the yarn for the sundress. Very cool looking for a warm summer.

Hope Linda does well with her surgery.

P.S. I tagged you for a meme but obviously under the circustances, let it go. Keep is posted on Linda.
