Last night I went to my first Knit night with One Kitty and the others, and I really had a good time. It was nice to talk to others about knitting and get out by myself for a bit. It was also really neat to see what others are working on. I took the SKP sock even though I’m still not sure about it, I was able to get to the toe grafting part so YAY! Thank you to One Kitty and the others for having me over and I’m looking forward to the next one.
Yesterday was also crazy in picking Bella back up, we go in and Roo can tell something is wrong with her cat. They keep saying don’t pull on her, don’t let her do this and that…so the vet brings Bella out thinking it would help Roo, well when she seen the shaved belly and pink stitches you could tell that tears were about ready to pour. So then we had to calm her down and get her thinking about helping me with Bella lol.

We brought her home and the plan was to keep her downstairs but that failed lol. I’m not sure how you keep a cat from jumping and doing whatever they please. I thought well I’ll set her up in the basement since that’s where her box is…that way I won’t have to worry about her going upstairs and getting on the kid’s beds. So I took her down and sat up her food for her and got her a little bed together, came upstairs to fix her a bowl of water, went back to the basement door and there she sat looking at me, like nope I’m not staying down there. She seems to be doing ok and not a care in the world…she does move a tad slower and I guess the stitches pinch…she kinda looks around like who did that to me when she stretches lol.

After we had her settled in we headed out for groceries as I figured on Friday and this weekend the stores would be crowded. We also swung in and seen Martha at C & M, we hadn’t seen her in awhile and it was good to catch up with them. She also gave me a Bible they ran across with the names in it and some news paper clippings. I find it sad that it some how ended up in an Auction. I have my great-grandmother’s Bible and it’s very worn and held together with rubber bands, I keep it up so the kids can’t get it but would hate to think of it one day turning up in an auction.
I hope you all have a great day of knitting : )

Liking that sock you got there. Both the pattern and the yarn. Looks like the monkey socks to me, but that could be because that's what I'm knitting.
Oh poor Bella and Roo! I hope the both of them are back to their old selves soon. Kids feel things more intensely sometimes.
Thank you, it's the Berlin Muster pattern...I can't seem to CO to the 2nd one though lol. : )
