Yay for pretty yellow flowers : )

You know that spring is here when you start seeing these little flowers (we always call them Easter lilies) all over the place, and it's also very sweet when you have loved ones that pick them for you! When we go for our evening walks the kids can pick one and JD picked a flower for me too. I know 4 flowers but 2 of those are from Roo, one day she picked one and Isaiah didn't...the next day they both picked one : )

We had parent/teacher conference this week and Isaiah is doing very well. The teacher said he is reading on his own, already reading on a 2nd grade level, tests well and comprehends what he is reading, whizzes through the math tests that they are timed on, and gets along great with the kids. He does need to slow down and focus but for a 1rst grader that is common. I was so glad to hear he is getting along with other kids, you always worry that your child is being picked on.

We also heard from the Save a Mom and Whitlee is ours, YAY! She will let us know next week when her spay appt is, after she goes to the vet.

I also finished up my test knit and it was a cool pattern, just wish I had chose a better color. I'll show you guys when the pattern is available.

Now I just have to work on Roo's top and pick a sock for April.

I hope you guys have a great day of knitting : )

We call them daffodils and I LOVE them. They don't do too well here in TX, but I grew up with them in WA. Your kids are so sweet to pick them for you. Gotta love em!
