Finally though I have progress to show, I give you the top part of Roo’s top.

She is very excited about it and keeps saying “no mommy, knit on my top”. I’m using Elann’s Esprit in a pretty blue. I’m getting 6sts per inch on size 6 needles…so far it’s working. I hope it continues to because I’m really just winging it on getting the size. I took her measurements and they were not that far off from the pattern…I wanted to CO the same amt so I wouldn’t have to worry about the charts.
I’m also working on a test knit but all I can say is... a sock pattern and give you a hint lol

good hint huh?
Back last summer I did another test knit and it’s available, it’s a very nice pattern. I’m not just saying that ‘cause I test knitted either. I’m one that sometimes wants a sock to just sit and knit mindlessly but I’m not a big fan of the K1,P1…this gives you a different option but one that is still easy enough I can do with the kids running around or on a trip to WV. I think it would work great for a guy’s pattern too…Here is my sample and here is the link to where you can find the pattern. Under online if you scroll down you will see the list of places you can buy and download the pattern.

Besides a knitting blah this week, it also went really really slow for me. I’m glad it’s the weekend even though that will fly by. We did go to Isaiah’s school for pastries (doughnut and water/milk/oj) and enjoyed that. The kids loved that spring has finally arrived here and enjoyed the outdoors in between the rain showers. Today was soo pretty though sunny, warm, and no rain! We enjoyed the afternoon outdoors and tomorrow it’s supposed to be even nicer. I can’t wait woohoo!
Also, I'm wanting to make a spring/summer cool looking purse any ideas? It can be knit or crochet...
I hope you guys have a great day of knitting! : )
