So now that spring is officially here I expect some warmer temps lol. So far we are just getting the spring rain. This week we had illness strike our house again, Isaiah missed his last day of school before Easter Break. He was doing so good this year had perfect attendance and then over the last 2wks he has 3 days now.
Yesterday I spent the day scrubbing the house down and letting it air out. It’s supposed to be a tad colder today but I want to air it out again. My parents are coming up this weekend YAY! Hopefully the weather cooperates with us. This morning mom called to let me know we had flood warnings, and under a severe winter storm warning…I looked it up and called JD and only up north is under the snow warning…there is a section in our area that is iffy about the flooding but there is also a back way in around that section lol.

I haven’t really knitted much this week. I did work on Gina’s shawl (pictured above) and was hoping to get 3 ½ repeats finished before I mailed it to the next knitting buddy, but with the mess this week was I only got 2 ½ repeats. I sent it out the door this morning with JD (thank you) to be mailed off…then I spotted the lifeline thread that I forgot to put back into the box…so I gotta mail that tomorrow lol.
It’s such a pretty shawl and very easy to remember. It is now on my to do list lol.
I hope you all have a wonderful day of knitting and Happy Easter!! : )
