On Thursday it was so pretty that we enjoyed the outdoors, although we still have snow left but hopefully this week will be warm enough to melt the rest.

I started the flower sock out of some really pretty Koigu, brendajos had sent me. It’s working up sooo pretty!!

Also, on Thursday I received the wrap box from GJ. She is a fellow Sockster and is so sweet! She is unable knit for very long, she is having trouble with her wrist/fingers. She is making this for her son’s graduation and some of us are helping her out to make sure it is finished in time. She included some goodies for me a pretty row counter bracelet and some sock yarn. The sock yarn is so pretty and I can’t wait to come across the perfect pattern for it. The color of the yarn I’m not sure of …in one light it looks like blue and black, but then sometimes it looks kinda green with black? It’s very pretty though! Thank you GJ!!

Roo loves flowers and every time we go out she wants to buy a flower. I have no luck with flowers and they usually don’t make it unless JD steps in. This was here tulip last night. It had opened up and she was so excited!!

The only knitting I did this weekend was the Hemlock it was something I could easily do and pay attention to what was going on. I finished it up last night and started the bind off…the bind off wasn’t hard at all but took a long time. Then the blocking took awhile, I’m still not happy with it. Two sides need to come out more.

Tomorrow my focus is on GJ’s shawl and I want to get that back in the mail to the next person hopefully no later than Thursday. Then I need to finish a pair of booties for mom to take home with her on Easter Sunday, and I need to finish one of the socks I started on Thursday so she can help me crochet the flower this weekend lol.
I hope you all have a wonderful day of knitting!! : )
