I was cutting it awful close this month; I decided not to use the SKP for the SAM 5 socks. I wanted to use the flower socks instead, and just finished them up last night! The pattern was very easy to do and one I could work on while the kids were being active. I really enjoyed the Koigu (thank you brendajos!) and it knitted up sooo pretty!
Info:
I changed the toe and the heels
Pattern: Flower Socks by Ellene Warren
Needle: Size 1 ML
Yarn: Koigu Kppm
CO: 3/13/08
BO: 3/31/08
Accomplished Crochet for the flowers woohoo : )
Now I’m starting this for Roo (English translation is ready on ravelry) only thing I have to re-size it for a 4yr old. I figured up my gauge so I wouldn’t have to change the CO amt cause really there isn’t that much difference between the chest measurements…I’m a little worried though because my yarn has stretch to it…so I wonder if I need to get the new gauge or really just knit like it hers and it will stretch enough for her… will have to work on it a bit longer then decide…there is a reason I don’t design…I don’t like figuring this stuff out : P
I hope you all have a great day of knitting!! : )
