Did someone say snow?

Well we got some more. Let me tell you today I will be glad when this mess is over with, although we did get some pretty pictures.

Today started off ok until prolly around 8:30 something till 9 when the snow began to fall. I was starting to wonder what they would do at the School when around 10:30 we got word that the buses would be there around 1:30 to take the students home. Looking at how fast the snow was coming down I knew at 1:30 I would be to afraid to go up to the main road to get Isaiah. So I called the school and they told me I could come and get him. It was sooo bad I was really starting to doubt myself for going after him. Now I’m not one to drive on bad roads at all… so it was an experience. It prolly took me 10 mins to get him and when we came out of the school I was in shock to see my car was completely covered!! I told the kids to just sit tight and let mommy drive. Isaiah of course was letting me know I could do it. : )

I called JD when we made it home and told him I thought he might want to find a place to stay over there, he let me know around 12:30 that he was coming home. So I sent up some prayers and called mom, who got the prayer chain started down there. I then e-mailed my buds and asked them to do the same and asked my socksters if they would say a little prayer too. Then I realized how was he going to get the car up in our driveway? So I ran out and started shoveling…you really couldn’t tell I was shoveling cause it was coming down so fast so I also took the broom to it that didn't do anything either…I finished up and took a seat on the porch and waited for JD to pull in…

It took him three hours to get home…Thankfully he made it home safe and sound and he stopped at one point to help dig someone out. I was so glad to see him come home. He makes such a drive so I can live in my little farm house in the country. Thank you, cutie!! : )

Of course you know what this means…I still have only ½ a couch because UPS didn’t come out today lol. Maybe Monday the other half will come… : P

I hope you all have a great day of knitting!! : )
