Last night when we went to bed it was a slushy mess. I even mentioned to JD how disappointed Roo will be that her 5 ½ inches of snow had started to melt. Well she wouldn’t be disappointed when she woke up. We had more snow! Isaiah was home today and told me “if we have snow tomorrow it will ruin Valentine’s day”. They are suppose to have a Valentine’s Day party tomorrow lol.
In the picture above you see Gideon,he is my baby and is nothing but cuddly. He loves the snow and ran out the door with us today. He chased the kids and ran through the fields chasing snow. When we headed back to the house he wasn’t far behind though.
I finished my Sockamania socks today. I really like how they turned out although the last BO was a bit snug. We will see if that gets ripped out or left alone. I tried to take photos today; ok many photos were taking today. None turned out very well the yarn seems to be too busy or something.

The only thing I did different is the heel. I wanted to try out the Sherman Short Row and it worked out pretty good. No holes! : )

Now to start my Memorial sock for Momma Monkey who ran the site Socktopia. I read the site some but didn’t participate. When it moved to Ravelry I joined in Dec when I seen one of the contest. I didn’t know her personally but always liked her patterns. I just hate that it’s now that I cast on to one. We are doing the memorial sock on Ravelry group, and it will be in purple for lupus. I’m planning on giving these to my grandmother who has lupus, but I’m having trouble choosing the pattern.
I’m hoping to finish these up and then try and focus on my Civil War Shawl. I really would love to finish it. I need to pull it out and go ahead and work on it at night.
I hope you all have a great evening of knitting! : )
