Skiff of snow and progress

We woke up this morning and finally had no more snow or ice. I was so happy and hoped that we would have a pretty day. The sun stayed hid for the most part making an appearance here and there. The kids were upstairs content for a while so I worked on my Civil War Shawl, and when I came out to the living room to stretch it out, I was surprised to see that we had a skiff of snow. The good thing was it was almost 6pm and it wasn’t dark anymore YAY!

I had decided on Saturday to start working on my civil war shawl again. I started this on 6/11/07 and worked on it till 7/10/07. Then it became to hot to work with between the yarn and having the shawl on my lap. I left the shawl on Rnd 107 and today it’s on Rnd 120 woohoo.

I was so excited today that I had to see it stretched out so I put it on three cable needles and pulled it out a bit…not to much cause I didn’t want to mess with picking up all those sts even if there was a lifeline just a row below lol. I think you can tell enough I’m even more excited about it now.

I have no idea how long it will take me to finish it, on the weekends I can work on it more. I’m up to where the rounds are taking a good deal of time and it’s not so easy to stop unless I’m on a knit round. Anyways just 41 more rounds to go and I can start the edging!

I hope you all have a great night of knitting! : )
