Yesterday it began to snow here but I didn’t think much of it. The weather man had said no accumulation or very little. As the day went on the flurries came down more and more.
When we went to dance I still wasn’t concerned until JD called me. I have to walk out to take phone calls in there and when I did the parking lot was like a winter wonderland. We ran out on one of Roo’s breaks and found the roads slippery.
Isaiah was suppose to begin soccer practice that night but with the snow still coming we decided to skip. Thankfully, dance let out early too.
The girls tried on their costumes and ran through the routine once.
We then made our way home very slowly and JD made it home not too long after us. It took him 2.5 hrs to get home…I figured today school would be cancelled. However, they are holding onto those last 2 snow days we have (we only have 3 total this year).
The kids were not thrilled with a 2hr delay they were suppose to have early dismissal today and now that would be cancelled.
He wouldn’t let me take his picture while we waited on the bus
Roo acting out one of the cartoons she has watched.
The horses ready for breakfast
and our 365 picture for today.
How’s Gideon? Well I would have said he is doing great! He has been alert, snooping in everything I am doing, eating, drinking, still going, and about tore me up when I gave him his meds today. He also slept with us again last night and let me know when it was time to get up today.
Then the vet called and I told him the above and he asked how frequent is the trips to the litter box? I told him pretty often. He didn’t like that answer and feels it could still be inflamed and give him issues.
He asked me how the bladder felt (he had showed me what to look for) and I told him it’s not swollen and feels normal. He told me his still not out of it and to watch him carefully and really push the water to keep flushing it out.
Do you know how hard it is to get a cat to drink water that doesn’t want it? He ended up with all claws in me when he had finally had enough!
I thought I knew my cat and that he was getting better…but have my hopes blinded me? I hope not. *sigh*
