Happy Birthday, Isaiah

On Tuesday, Isaiah turned 10 years, that is so hard to believe! We had planned on him opening his gifts on Friday along with having cake and ice cream.

I couldn’t let it go like that and so I fixed him his favorite dinner, which is Ziti at the moment, and picked him up a little cake for our small celebration.

Yesterday I was suppose to check in at the school and then run to the store.  Everything has been crazy here this week and I hadn’t made it out yet for the cake and presents!  Well that didn’t happen and it was 2 before I made it out of the school, and had to be back by 3:20 to pick him up.  Roo was going home with Jaylinn for the parade.

Then when I came back to the school the T-shirt/Sweatshirt sale had to be wrapped up and parents were still coming in.  I didn’t make it home till almost 4 where I ran around like crazy to make the cake, clean, and wrap gifts!

Isaiah had decided that any money he got for his b-day I was to take it and get what he picked out for it, and then bring it home to be wrapped.

We first headed out to the parade to watch Roo dance, we couldn’t find her till it was too late.  : ) I took mom’s camera to see how it would handle night time shots.

Then we made our way home for a sleepover, Isaiah had Brennon and Jackson over, and Roo had Jaylinn over.

So happy to have one of his own, so he doesn’t have to beg Roo for her dsi!

He had left his ds outside in the rain this summer, mom and dad said “save up for another”, but mama and Yogi came to his rescue lol.

Thank you to Mama & Papa DeLay, Aunt Debbie, Grandma Scarbro, Mawma and Pawpa Cameron, and Jackson for money.  He was able to get a DS game (he thought to use on Roo’s), Lego Atlantis, and some smaller Legos.

This morning we had an early dance class so there was no sleeping in.  I think we are all counting down to bed time now.  :D
