Friday the kids stayed with Jen and we got to head out by ourselves. On Saturday night we had Jackson and the boys had a blast together.
On Sunday we spent the day getting ready for the bake sale the following day. We made bracelets to fill our orders and in hopes to sell some, the bake sale wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I did get a quick visit in with 2 of my favorite people that I love and miss. If you two need anything you call me :D
We also been trying to get back in the hang of the school year with homework, 4th grade has brought a lot of home work, and 1st grade is trying to hang with them.
This was my table on Tuesday, now the kids get started on homework as soon as they walk in the door, we had to leave some as we headed to football practice.
This was football practice with thunder and lightening, they finally called practice.
On Wednesday mom headed this way and JD headed back that way for his rafting trip. I have kept mom pretty much on the run, as soon as she got here on Wednesday we unpacked her car, threw the kids in the car, and off to dance we went.
On Thursday after the kids headed to school we headed to Zanesville and Dresden. We went to Chipotle so mom could try them, YUM! We then headed to the school where we put Isaiah in his friend’s car with his football gear (realizing we forgot cleats!) and Roo in mom’s car with her dancing gear.
Mom dropped Roo and me off and drove back to my house for the cleats (that’s about 30 mins away), then she drove back to dance. I discovered Roo was suppose to have Elite but couldn’t send mom back towards the house to give Isaiah the cleats and then return again for us :D…Next Thursday I will have this down!
Today we took the kids to school and headed to Coshocton and made it back home in time to unload groceries before getting the kids. Tonight we had no where to run and the kids enjoyed playing with Chanelle and Javin till they had to go, and then Hailee.
Tomorrow we will head out again for a football game and pineapples for the cake I owe dad.
I told her she will need a vacation from her vacation lol
Of course also going on was
feeding Storm and Buttercup
taking care of them
taking care of the newest addition (and the others)
noticing fall beginning to show
watching a helicopter make circles over our house
Noticing the apples are ready for pickin’
The Black Apples!
The “red apples” as I call them
ready to be peeled, can’t wait make apple jam like Grannie’s …ok prolly won’t taste like I remember her jam ‘cause she was a one of a kind cook, but I’m going to give it my best shot.
Enjoyed the cooler days with our windows open
Enjoyed school letting out this little girl asked me if we were half way done yet :p
Still selling the bracelets here is a couple more combos
I really like the camo in the simple weave
Of course dance is back full swing and this past week Roo rec’d info on her first fundraiser for Elite.
She is selling what used to be Home Interior but now is Celebrating Home, she gets 50% of the profit from these.
She will also be participating in a Dance-a-thon on Sept. 24th and collecting money for the whole time (not on a hourly basis) she will get to keep 100% of the donation on this.
Whew! Are you all still with me? I *hope* to do better this coming week with blogging, we shall see :D
