Thank you so much AuburnChick for giving me this award!

I started this blog because it seemed like everyone had blogs and I thought I would like to give it a try.  It was kinda joke on how long I would be able to keep it going.

The internet has allowed me to meet friends that I normally would never have known.  The blog world has let me get to know them on a more one to one basis.

In my “ non-blog world” I’m a very shy person and most of you that I talk to on KH, Ravelry, FB, would find me very quiet in person.  Its been said that I’m hard to get to know, guarded, or come across snobbish.  When really I’m just very shy and tend to worry too much about reactions.  This blog has kinda gave me a voice, see I type behind this computer…I don’t see reactions…I don’t have to talk to someone face to face where my words get all jumbled up and doesn’t come out like I want it to.  : )

In my “non-blog world” there is only a few that really know me.  It takes me awhile to come around.  I’m getting better I think, with kids I have had to.

I do enjoy sharing my world with you all and hope you all enjoy my blog.  I know my blog posts can be kinda picture heavy, but I just love them.  They tell stories that I can’t find words for.

Another thing that this blog has brought is a bridge to our families that are in WV.  Great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins…they all get to see what the kids are into.  Things they would normally miss out on like Isaiah’s first touch down or Roo’s latest hair style : )

What I hope my blog reflects is that I have a deep faith in God, that I love my husband and my kids, that I love my family, that I love my friends (here and in blog land), animals, knitting, and well life.  What you see is how we are nothing fancy just happy :D

Again, thank you to AuburnChick and if you haven’t checked her blog out go do it now.  She is a strong believer, worker, friend, wife, and a wonderful mother, who I have been blessed to get to know.

Now to pass this award on….these are some wonderful gals even though some I’ve missed hearing from in awhile :D

Dustina,
You sound just like me. I feel the same way about myself--shy and worrying about reactions. It's so much easier to talk online.

I enjoy reading your blog. You take great pictures and do fun stuff with the kids all the time.

Sorry I've been absent. I'm taking a library science class online and I have to work on the computer so much that I've been trying to avoid it as much as possible.

I miss you all at Hilde's. When are you getting together again?

Oh Dustina, how you made tears come to my eyes. Thank you, my friend, for being so kind.

I don't think I realized that you are the shy person you say you are. It's easy to assume that a person is very social when she spends so much of her time volunteering and giving to others.

We are so much alike...you really have no idea (or maybe you do).

Hugs to you. I am so thankful you have chosen to open yourself up to the public to allow us to see a small glimpse of the beautiful person you truly are.

aww Thank you! I am starting to see the links we share lol. Yeah most of the time Jackie would handle all the talking and I was at home getting stuff together that way lol. It was a change for me last Christmas when I had to step up : )
